overspray

Ok guys, i need your help!!!

i have a brand new 09 BO G37S with 500 miles on it. After a few days of ownership, i noticed 2 paint chips on the door. It wasn't there when i took delivery. I called the dealership to see if they could do anything and told me to bring it in. I did and they TRIED to fix the problem but actually made the car a mess. They tried to fix the paint on the door twice but it was not perfect and told me they wouldn't be able to make it perfect, so they gave up (fine, i will go to a body shop to paint the door correctly, no big deal), but they have overspray ALL over my brand new car now!!!! I really don't want them touching this car anymore. My cars are always hand washed and waxed. No one details my car but me. But my question is...i will claybar the car to get rid of this overspray, but i'm sure it will leave some swirls and marring....can i polish the self healing clear coat? the dealership said there should be no problem with polishing, but i really don't trust them. Has anyone polished their self healing clear coat or has some techniques or information about this?? Would it be easier to have a recommended detailer try to get this car back to new? Any info is appreciated.

I think your best bet would be to go to a professional detailer and see if they can help first. If that doesn't help then it only makes sense that the dealership either take care of the body shop charge since they over sprayed and made it worse. Hope it works out in the end. Gd luck.

It seems as though this paint scratches and chips very easily......its very unfortunate to those of us who care about what their paint looks like
