In the gulf they use grease, works pretty well and can be washed off leaving nothing behind

 

It works great. We did it to my friends accord a few weeks ago and it was fine. Just bought one 30 yard roll. Only took about half of it to cover the whole thing well. We only did one layer too and it worked just fine.

 

Nice wax job, and when you get there, just spraying off the car will take off the bugs.

 

Be unique, use saran wrap and tape down the sides to secure. Might be a easier application. Haha.

If bugs are the only thing you are worried about, just wash it. Most people worry about rock chips.
