Waxing / Compoud for adhesive residue

Hey guys,

I just picked up my G37S from the dealership this weekend. I noticed on the drivers side door handle...right below it is a very faint lightened color with the outline of a square adn some haze inside that square. I know when the cars are in the lot, they put styrafome cubes on the bumpers, but do they also put that on the door handle?

You can barely see it - but its a lighter color in that door handle area with perfectly straight edges so I'm imagining something was there. Is it from adhesive? And if so...do you think compound or black wax would take that out?

Thanks for the help.

You should be able to remove the residue with a Claybar. If not, try bug and tar remover.

Ok thanks...I guess I'll try that if the compound doesn't work.
