i just installed the roof ovrlay and it seems to have some sticky residue on it and im scared to add any chemicals. i also feel like if i take a chamois and water it will scratch the vinyl. what do i do to clean it off??

 

i washed mine with soap and water with no problems.

 

Try any type of cooking oil (olive, vegetable, etc) with a soft cloth. See if that works.
