Menzerna P106FF Polish - Result pics.....
About 6 months ago I made the fatal mistake of taking my car through a drive-through car wash.
Needless to say, on black cars this is a BIG no-no. I can't tell you WTF I was thinking except that after months of rain with no letup the car was filthy. (Seattle had a far rainier winter and spring than even usual).
I tried several polishes to get the scratches out:
Zaino deep polish
Sonus SFX-2 followed up by SFX-3
McGuire's Scratch-X
One-Shot (I knew this wouldn't work but got some for free and tried it)
After much frustration a friend pointed me to Mazerna P106FF polish with a follow-up of Klasse All-in-one for an acrylic wax. Stuff is pricey, but at this point I was willing to try anything.
Pics below tell the story. Note that results are BEFORE putting the Klasse All-in-one one the car.
Application is done via a Porter Cable 7424 random orbit polisher + Yellow Pad.

Ian, your work was fantastic. I did a customer job today with P0106FF and it turned out great. Like I've stated in previous posts, the P0106FF is definitely my go to polish when doing my customer's cars and also my own.
