Solismo... Here's my new combo. Garnet uses it as well.
1) Menzerna: PO106ff Ceramic Clear Coat Polish
2) Menzerna: Finishing Touch Glaze (FTG)
3) Menzerna: Full Molecular Jacket (FMJ)
Optional:
4) Top it off with a few coats of Poorboy's Natty's Blue for additional depth and shine.
For Pads, I have used the LC Pads (Lake Country) with excellent success...

Also, what are the different Merzerna polishes available from least abrasive to most abrasive?

Approx 24 hrs between coats is recommended, however, I personally think a tad shorter is fine... 8 - 10 hrs IMO if car is not in the sun.
I obviously haven't tried every product on the market, but I have tried a fair amount. The best polish I've used by a landslide is Menzerna's 0106FF. It has light to medium cutting ability and you don't need to follow up with another polish to remove any hazing.
As far as protection is concerned, I always follow up my sealant with a carnuba for added depth and gloss. The best combination I've found so far on my Garnet Ember G is Menzerna FMJ sealant followed by Natty's Blue Paste Wax. IMO, FMJ gives the closest looking depth and shine to a carnuba of any sealant I've used in the past. It's EXTREMELY easy to use as well. I let me sealant cure for at least 24 hours before I apply my Natty's blue and I have applied 3 coats of that. Let me tell ya, my GE Sedan was really poppin'!
Btw, George has FMJ on sale for today only.
