Water marks all over dried up. Need Help!

So I was in San Diego with my girl over the weekend. After one night parking at the parking lot, I found dried sprinkler water marks all over my hood, fenders and bumper. The first thing I did when I got home was to try hand washing them off. NO LUCK! Then I put some wax on there, the marks are still all over my car.

So is there a proven method to get rid of the dried up water marks? Is clay bar gonna work or do I need to use something special? Please give me some help on this guys. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

dried water marks? isnt this the most common thing ? especially like morning dew or anything.

just a regular wash and dry will get rid of them. i wash my car once a week and i park it outside. so dried water marks are all i deal with.

Try diluted vinegar (around 1/4 part of water to 3/4 part of common household cooking vinegar).

Just wipe them over the water spots, let it sit for a couple of minutes then wash it again with car wash and water once you are done... that should take care of it.

Theyre "hard water" spots. Get a good cleaner wax and give it a couple good go rounds and give it some pressure. No need for clay or buffer.

Did you park under a tree? It could be the sticky fluid from the tree!! In general for water spots I pour some purified water on the spot and dry with the microfiber towel.

First thing I would try would be to wipe it with quick detailer spray and a microfiber towel.

QD prolly won't get them off. Depending on how hard the water is, you potentially need to use a polish to remove them. I had to use the PC and some menzerna IP to get them all off of my old OB g35c.

**Update**

So I tried using the clay bar on my problem and it DID take out most of the water marks on my fenders. But as for my hood and bumper, both areas are protected with ClearBra, so the claying didn't work at all. I tried that diluted water-vinegar method, it still doesn't remove them. Even after spending a long time buffing the areas, the water marks don't seem to lessen.

So my new question is: How do I get the water spots off the ClearBra areas?

OH... I didn't know you have clear bra.

Diluted water-vinegar works well on painted surfaces, but for plastic surfaces like the clear bra you need to use a plastic polish and/or cleaner.
