Surprising, I have the Costco/Sams Club towels and I use them for everything and mine work fine and no scratching. I highly highly highly suggest you wash them as soon as you get them though. Actually, do the following with every towel.

1. Open pack
2. Take out each individual towel (it think you get 25 for a ridiculously low price)
3. Whip it through the air like you just don't care (basically just kind of wave it around hard). This will get most of the little orange (or any other color you bought) out so you won't find them on your car later.
4. Wash all of them (Remember, suggested to wash the Microfiber towels in washes by themselves and then when you dry them, do NOT use the little dryer sheets, just toss them in by themselves)
5. Use on car and wash immediately after use.

Up until now, I have had the Costco towels for about 5 months now and they all are working great. I now that there are other MF towels out there that are better (the one I got with my Meguiars clay kit feels a bit better) but you can't beat them for the price and up until now no scratches caused by them.

If you guys want a good product to remove dust, get this! This is by far the best I've used and my detailing arsenal wouldn't be without it. Use this along with a few good MF towels and you're good to go.

Why not get it from George at Detailed Image and get 10% off?

i've heard good stuff about the waffle weaves that kmart carries, if you have one of them near you.. i think they're green, and they're viking brand, but i could be wrong

i have microfibers from all over the place though... autopia, autogeek, detailed image.. i think my favorites are the pink ones i have.. i think they were from autopia but i'm not sure

think i'll try pakshak next time i buy microfibers

any decent microfiber should be fine though
