That sucks. Don't you wish you bought a clear bra now?

I'm already beginning to notice a couple small imperfections in my bumper too, and I barely drive the damn thing. I'm looking into getting a clear bra in the coming months.

I don't think anyone on this board has repainted their bumper due to paint chips...correct me if I'm wrong.

Is the clear bra aftermarket and where did you buy it? - I didn't see it at the dealership.
Also, is it easy to put on - or does it need to be installed?

it's not worth to repaint a whole bumper just because of rock chips.. I mean you'll get rock chips from daily driving as well and it's expected.

It's not easy to install it, you'll need professional installation and they should run you about $400 for just a bumper and more $$ for more area.

you mean just a bumper? well if that's what you mean then that's way too much.

It's an infiniti. A tire pressure cap is like $30 dollars.lol. Don't take it to mom n pop body shops.

Took me a while to figure out what this thread was about. I thought someone was trying to tip over a rock...

For me the 3M clear bra was $700, but it covered the entire front bumper up on the hood about 1/4 and onto the two front side panels as well. It also covered the fronts of the side view mirrors as well as the portion in front of the wheel wells on the rear quarter panels. So not bad IMHO and has probably saved me a whole lot of rock chips or "tips" as some call it

How do you guys think the clear bra would work in FL?
I've heard horror stories about sand getting underneath, and acting like sandpaper on the paint....

Do you wash your car before driving in the clear bra process?
Do you still wash/polish/wax your car just like before after you installed clear bra?

I would highly recommend a clearbra... Nothing can get underneath the clearbra unless they clearbra over a dirty surface. I would not recommend a leather bra ANYWHERE. Lots of stuff can get underneath and act like sandpaper.
