I just let snow melt off usually unless it's a huge amount.

No choice up here. You have to take it off.

You can't ride around with a foot of snow on your hood blowing back on the windshield-

You always end up with some swirls and stuff by Spring. That's just the way it is. Nothing to be done about it except not to live here.

yea if u got a foot on your hood or trunk that sucsk. i would say cover it but taht might make cover stck to car in your guys weather. try to always keep the car salt free if you can or at least teh parts that will need to be wiped down. you shouldn't use a Brush b/c the bristles will scratch it. just put a garbage bag over your arm and do layer by layer if you can. i don't know i live in cali and mine still gets scratched all the time. ohh well soft paint=soft paint.

Yea, I paid a detailer $150 to do a paint detail that got rid of swirls, minor scratches, even a pretty deep scuff mark on my rear bumper. A pro detailer can work magic.
