What is a good tire shine product?

I have an IP, and no matter how long I make a tire shine product sit, or wipe off all the excess, it still seems to bleed and the product gets sprayed on the side of my car. I am tired of having little black dots from the tire shine after I drive my car. Any one know of a good product that does not bleed?

i had the same issue when i used Black Magic Tire Wet Foam (which i LOVE for how long it stays on). i use Zaino's Z-XX (can't remember) tire shine which is water-based instead of silicone-based. it seems to dry up faster, and if you leave it alone for long enough, will not sling anything on your car.

the water-based products are better for your tires and garage anyway, as silicone will take moisture out of your tires, making them that gray-brown color and helping your tires dry out faster. better for your garage as silicone products stain, whereas water does not.

Great advice finagle69. I highly recommend using water based product as well for a tire dressing. Water based dressings will get absorbed into your tires and some will even nourish your rubber keeping it soft and flexible, rather than drying it out like a silicone based dressing.

My product of choice has been Poorboy's World Bold 'n Bright. It's very easy to apply, never has sling and has a nice glossy look to it, or you can buff it down to a nice new tire look if desired.

I have been using Optimum Tire Shine and have been happy with it. I want to try PB's Bold n' Bright next.

I have never found a better product that Meguiars Hot Shine. Stuff is like spraypaint. You can adjust the nozzle according to the profile of your tire (mostly low here I assume) and it lasts a long time.

Just realized this is my 1st post. Been lurking here so long I figured I'd at least posted once! So, hi.
