Detailer recommendation in DC/northern VA?

I need to find a really good place to take my car for detailing in the Washington DC/northern VA area. Anyone with a recommendation?

Thanks!

Any luck finding a good detailer yet? I am also in the DC metro area and would like to find a good detailer. A buddy of mine recommended the following place http://www.newshinedetailing.com/index.html, but I have not tried them out yet.

No, I actually detailed the car myself. I'm a newbie to really doing a proper detailing, but I hooked up with George from Detailed Image, and he recommended great products and helped me with good advice. I actually clayed, polished and sealed the car, none of which I had ever done before (I also waxed, of course). It came out really great!

Having said that, it took a lot of time and I'm still interested in finding someone I can trust to do it for me if I ever can't. The link you provided looks very promising. The guy's berfore and after pics look awesome. I'm sure he would happily provide references. If he's decent, he'll have plenty of repeat customers. So thanks for the tip. If I use him, I'll let you know how it goes.

Are you driving a new G? I've only seen one other on the road (beltway), and it had MD plates.

Good job on the self-detail. I actually just shot the guy an email, so I will let you know what he comes back with.

Yep, I'm driving a Blue Slate Sport 6MT. I haven't had it on the Beltway much though, as I'm still trying to break it in. Another 500 miles and I will open it up. I've only seen one other myself on the road.

I'm in a Platinum Graphite sport 5AT. I don't have much choice but to be on the beltway as my commute is from Ashburn, VA to Silver Spring, MD. Most of the trip is bumper to bumper anyway.

I'm approaching 800 miles now, so I don't have too long before I can open her up, either. Good luck with the detailing!
