Painting Headlight Housing - Vancouver
Painting Headlight Housing - Vancouver
Does anyone know where I can get this done in Vancouver? Moreover, is it legal? I know you can't tint, or paint headlights/tails… but what about the housing?
Thanks in advance!

Did you see 180's thread on the custom options and pricing they offer for our headlights. Many options and just totally sick finished products. I wish they were located closer to me but I bet you could ship to them.
Meh just do it yourself. Think of how great you'll feel when someone says "damn where did you buy those??" You can just smirk and say you did them.
What you want to keep in mind though is that these headlights cannot be bought cheaply anywhere, especially the coupe headlights. It will take you a while to find a decent set, or even single headlight, at a reasonable price (usually $200-$400 each depending on condition). The aftermarket headlights are also very expensive due to these headlights being OEM HID and they also run about $450 a piece.
Not a deal breaker, but it's something you don't want to find out after an "oops".
I don't think it'd be illegal. Seems like every manufacturer has a model with chrome headlight housings which gets a blacked out or painted treatment as part of a package.
Think removing or painting amber reflectors, etc is where it goes "illegal". Chrome isn't a safety item.
