don't know what's my best option for unlocking, been looking at gevey blue ultra but don't really know much about it or where to buy it other than ebay. so here's what i got and questions
- bell iphone4 ios 4.2.1 jailbroken
- should i unjailbreak it and upgrade to 5.1 then jailbreak it again or keep it as is jailbroken

 

Carriers are unlocking phones for their customers now so that you can switch carriers if wanted.

As far as jailbreaking, upgrade to 5.1 then use redsnow or greenpoison to rejailbreak

Google search pod2g and look on his forums.....he is the foremost expert on jailbreaking and has all the tools for downloading.

i'm getting mix info about canadian carrier unlocking phones. maybe i should call mine.

 

just called my carrier and they don't unlock.

 

I didn't think they had a jailbreak for 5.1 yet

 

Carriers only unlock the phone if it was purchased from them...trade it that's what I had to do

 

Keep it on 4.2.1 or 5.0 theres no good 5.1 jailbreak or stable unlock right now and those carrier BSes on the ios5 or above keep going out and you have to redo it. better yet sell it and get an unlocked phone from apple so you can stop worrying.
