For those of you that are driving your G37S Coupes through winter, what wheel and tire set-up (manufacturer & size) are you using? I took delivery of my coupe in early December to take advanatge of the dealer incentives for remaining 2009 inventory and garaged the car until Spring.

I have read that that the TOYO Observe Garit KX comes highly recommended and is favoured by some over the Bridgestone LM-25. Feedback from anyone using the Toyo's would be appreciated.

I was hoping to take advantage of end of season sales on winter tires if there is any remaining inventory come spring.

One of the first things I bought for the car was a set of winter wheels and tires sice I was going to be driving it year round. I actually bought from TireRack choosing their ASA7's in 18x8 with Dunlop DS-3's in 225/50.

Other than slightly fishing the tail out the first time I took them out (I forgot I was on 225wide snows) I've been very happy with them. Very quiet and with the one good snowfall that we've got in Toronto so far I've been pleased with the traction.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

I am assuming that you are not using a staggerd winter tire set-up. Was the final cost from the Tire Rack reasonable with shipping and exchange rate? Have you found the tires a bit mushy or that they pull frommside to side during dry weather driving at highway speeds?
I was thinking of running the stock wheels as my winter alloys next season and upgrading therafter to new 20" summer alloys. There are two issues however that I need to take into consideration. First, I drive into downtown Toronto everyday from Richmond Hill and with a stiff suspension, lower profile tires and the condition of the roads in the GTA, I will be regularly dodging potholes to avoid damaging the rims. Second, a staggered set-up for 19" high performance snow tires costs a bundle and will not be forgiving during less than favourable driving conditions.

My current winter ride is a five series BMW equipped with Goodyear GW3 high performance winter tires. The tires have been excellent performers but are unavailable in sizes for G37S set-ups.

I use the toyo's on both the Coupe and the sedan. I do like them better on the sedan, they seem to grip a little better with AWD rather than the RWD of the coupe. I am running 18x8's all around just so I can maximize the wear on the tires. I have 18" aftermark rims (I actually like them better than the stock 19's). I drive in the city and on the highway and I haven't really noticed anything different. Most people in Edmonton use trucks in the winter so driving the coupe is both a challenge and fun! You can't go wrong with the Toyo's really.

I have the Blizzak LM-25 on 18" wheels. I really like them.

First of all to what winter r u referring to?? And I have LM-25 on 18's, they work great!

Be patient, winter has not forgotten us in the Toronto area. Hopefully, the delayed winter doesn't mean snow in April. In north Richmond Hill there is still snow kicking around.

What name brand and style alloys are you using? What do you think of the concave vossens for a summer set-up?

ya thats what im afraid of lol. as for my winters they are ASA GT1 or GT2, dont remember, got them from infiniti. i was actually thinking about getting the concaves but i didnt like the fact that the fronts arent noticably concaved, i instead got matte black Volk GT30s

I have 18" MB Wheels with Kumho KW19 and really like how they work. I do have Toyo Observe G-02 on my Mini Cooper and they are brilliant tires, better than the Michelin X-Ice.

I'm running LM-25's on 18" BSA 303's (I think Infiniti blasted those cheap rims out last winter, I see every second G Coupe and Sedan with them).

225/50 all around and so far no real complaints. I drive from Waterloo to Toronto. Noise is ok, but I have the dreaded windshield cracking. I just turn up my music so I can't hear it

Greek_infiniti9 what did you do with the OE wheels? I assuming you had the 19" 10 spoke wheels.

PM if you are interested in selling. I may consider using a second set OE wheels for winter set-up next year.

I am running OE 19's with Dunlop M3s 245/40/19. Not overly bad.
