Hello all,

after a lot of crunching it looks like I will not be able to afford a brand new G37x... ( we are buying a new house at the same time so that ties all our cash up).

So my options are now a new cheaper car (Mazda 6, Honda Accord etc.) or a used but nice G37x.

I would prefer the G37x, but I am a bit concerned about buying something with unknown history (if the engine was for example abused - I may not find that out before closing the deal).

What is the best way to ensure that if I were to buy used, the car is in a good shape?

Where would be a good source to buy used from ?

get a car fax report on it.

I have never bought used but if i were too i would make sure i met the owner, test drove the car, maybe take it to a reputable shop and get em to do a compression test etc etc... plus it will still have all its warranty most likely,

Oh and another thing, if its modded to **** I wouldnt buy it... just my 2 cents
