Anyone have the G37 Rough 4th -> 3rd Downshift TSB FIX
Hey was wondering if anyone has expierenced the G37 Rough 4th -> 3rd Downshift symptom and have gotten the TSB Fix from the dealer here in Canada(Toronto). I have a 09 G37x 7AT bought it beginning of June, pretty sure I do not have the update, my MM downshifts are pretty hard, was hoping this fix is available here and can solve that problem.
The information for the update is as follows:
TSB: ITB09-032
Classification: AT09-009
Release date: June 24, 2009
Applied Vehicles:
2009 G37 Sport Sedan (V36) 2WD and 4WD
2009 G37 Sport Coupe (V36) 2WD and 4WD
2009 FX35 (S51) 2WD
2009 FX35/50 (S51) AWD
2009 M35 (Y50) 2WD Only
Here is the orginal thread detailing what I am talking about

Don't assume the dealer would do it for you when you take your car in. Tell them you want:

I am getting mine done this Friday.

I got my TSB update and it is running Okay. There is a still little down shifting but not as pronounced. It now runs smooth like other cars.
The downside of this is that if you need to accelerate you have to step on the gas peddle and force a downshift. There will be a time delay in shifting.
