Installing winter rims..

Hey All -

I just put my winter rims on yesterday for the first time - I've got a white G37S. Quick question: When I pulled the front wheels off I noticed i had these two little "bolt" things with bushing sticking about 1" out of the hub. They fit into empty space on the OEM rims, but I had to remove them to install my aftermarket 18" rims.

Just wondering -what are those bolts for? (And yes, I searched.. couldn't find anything.. )

Going for a ride now.. watch the car fall apart.

It's probably the same deal that was on the G35 coupes, the sport cars have a staggered tire setup like the G37S. In those cars the rear rim didn't have the slot for the extra bolt, so it prevented you from mistakingly mounting the rears on the front for obvious reasons. You can just remove them, I did before mounting my winters.
