Q about current deals (Nov 08)

Hi guys,

I'm thinking on leasing a 08 or 09 G37S Coupe. I stoped by the dealer the other day for a test drive and was offered just sticker price, pretty bad in my opinion. I'm just wondering if any of you are aware of current deals aside from the 1.9%. It looks like averyone in Canada deals using the MSRP instead of the invoice price and they go from there, is that normal here with Infiniti? I'm in Ottawa but don't mind traveling to Montreal or Toronto if I can get a better deal there.

thanks

There's no much savings if I can get close to MSRP, it looks like in the states people are able to negotiate around invoice, sometimes lower than invoice, big difference in price there. Is it possible to get that in Canada? Around invoice price now that the year is ending?

thanks!

yeah, isnt there some big discounts now for the 08 G37??

like manufacture rebates and dealer rebates. the invoice pricing is hard to find for Canadians.

I have no idea that's why I'm asking, I wasn't pushy since I only went for a test drive but the salesperson offered msrp and said that's pretty much what it is. So no discount there. I'm just wondering if there are any manufacturer rebates that ONE have to bring attention to.

I hear you, in this ****ty economy, they think they can still push us around. Just show interest, then walk away if you don't get what you want. They usually will contact you back later and deal a lot more. If not, give your business to another dealership or manufacturer other then Infiniti that wants your money. I don't even know why I'm waiting for the 09, I may as well just walk to an Audi dealership at this point I'm getting so fed up.

From the 08 or 09 I would get whatever better deal I can get, since I want 6MT there's no AWD so there's no point in waiting for the 09 for me.

Unfortunately, dealerships in Ottawa are holding it back. But I'm curious if the Sport version has been released as well, would you know? If they are in Montreal, I'll give them my business.

Oh and I'm waiting for the 09 cause the idea of shifting 7 gears looks attractive. I'll only go for a 08 if the price is amazing which dealerships right now are not willing to give.

Wait for the 2009 model!!!!! The prices will be slashed for sure, just look at G37 sedan.

2008 G35 sedan = $40k
2009 G37 sedan = $37k

2008 G37 coupe = $47k
My guess is that 2009 G37 coupe = $43k

The 09 price has been released according to TG. They won't give it to me via email and I'm not interested to drive 30 minutes for them to BS me again.
