I don't know what is worse the salt back east or the F&^%ing rocks the call sand out west here. With Salt I can keep my car undercoated and wash it all the time and it is a non issue. But the F^%$ing rocks wtf my hood and wind shield look like S*&T.

I got the clear bar but with the roads out here i need it all over my car. The bigest chip is 1" above the bra. I also got the back of the mirrors and the handel dishes done.

 

I agree with you completely. The rocks out here suck. I really don't know anyway around it. Seriously we could cover almost our entire car with the 3M covering.

 

Definitely Shumby, I've thought of that many times, the 3M is so good nowadays if you properly clean it you can't really tell the difference between the bare paint and paint with the 3M on it.

Do you also have the 3M strip near the rear wheel arches? That place gets absolutely bombarded with rocks. I think they could have placed a much bigger piece there, it was much bigger on my last G35C and more effective. Time to break out the touch up paint pen man.

 

^^ ya i do but I too wish it wasx bigger. I think i will be going to Europian auto tine to get a larger strip done.
