2008 g37?

I plan on going and test driving a 2008 G37 Coupe Journey with approximately 71k miles today at a dealership.

It's black, graphite interior, has the sport package, navigation, and back-up cam.

It has had 2 owners and only 1 service record(hopefully it will have more records stored in the glovebox or somewhere) according to the carfax. The dealer has it listed for a little under $18k.

SO my question is for this year, and this many miles, is that a fair price for the vehicle? Of course I don't plan on paying that much, so is $16,000 OTD reasonable or even less? Or should I forget about it since it has relatively high miles. (My current car is a 2013 Dodge Dart with less than 30k miles, so that is why I consider it high mileage).

I've done some research for awhile and I believe it can be done, but I want other opinions.

I'd say just keep your current car. One record on file doesn't mean it wasn't taken care of, however you never know. There's probably not gonna be any warranty for it.

It's not about warranty or anything. The G37 has power, fun factor, luxury, looks, and a good aftermarket. My current car has 160 HP, hard plastic interior, and TERRIBLE aftermarket. I like cars so it'd be a major upgrade for me.

But I appreciate your opinion, and I understand I probably sound a bit irrational.

I'd go for it in a heartbeat. I had a 2011 civic ex that I purchased brand new, three years later I got a 2011 g37s used because I wanted a sports luxury car. There is a night and day difference between what you have and what you want. So it is worth giving up a newer car and some warranty for a better car.

I gotcha. You could negotiate that price as well, even though it's not too bad as is.

In my area, I saw a few 09s with 50-60k miles each goin anywhere from $16,000 to $18,000. You might have a good deal but the milage seems high for that price. Of course different cities vary with pricig
