Planning to get 2010 G37x Sedan

Hi guys, I'm thinking about getting a used 2010 G37x sedan (non sport, non nav) to replace my '08 Accord. The Accord has been giving me a headache since I have to get it to the shop every month or so just because something random will go wrong (Please for the love of God stay away from this year and model from Honda).

So I found a Black Obsidian 2010 G37x 7AT with about 33k miles for $18.9k and I thought heck that is a really good deal for the mileage and the dealer had put a new set of Cooper CS3 tires. Haven't got the chance to look at the car yet but it's being sold by a reputable dealer with clean title and no accidents reported. Problem is tho, I commute about 80 miles a day roundtrip, 5 days a week to work and is really curious about mpg that this car will get. Current Accord (4cyl) does about 26-27 combined with 90% highway 10% city on a flat midwest highway with speed around 75-80 mph and cruise control on for most of the part. I'm usually not a spirited driver when commuting but can get a bit heavy footed on weekends lol.

What do you guys think? I know there are tons of mpg related threads but I would like to know more about this car's mpg. I really like this car when I test drove the XS a couple months back. To be honest, I'd prefer XS with nav but with this kind of price and mileage I don't think I can get anything close that price with XS nav.

Bought my 12 G37xS with 38k miles for $25k few months and I'm averaging 20 mpg in the city. I'm rarely on the highway since I only drive 12 miles round trip a day. If I was driving 80 miles a day I would stick to a four cylinder car that averages 30 plus mpg. Otherwise I would be at the gas pump twice a week.

I just got a 2010 g37S comin from a honda accord. It's going to be different to achieve Mpg with different cars. For example, with a Honda (05 accord 5spd) , I could push it more aggressively 80% of the time and still get 23mpg.. This car, if you do that, you'll get 15-16. People achieve the accords mpg but you have to drive it like you WANT it. In other words, drive to get places and not for speed.

Other than lower MPG and Prem gas, it's def worth the upgrade. The steering in the G makes Honda feel like ****.

Yeah I totally agree. what do you guys think about the price? Does 18.9k with 33k miles sounds like a good deal?

Yes it sounds Great in in Arizona looking to get a sedan now and sell my coupe but I have been seeing 22k for 30k miles and the price goes higher from there I think 18.9k is a good price for it if it's in good shape. The 22k one is 2011 g37 S Sedan (RWD).

I meant to say above I got a 2011. I paid 19.9k for g37 S (7AT) with prem, navi, and sport package. Has no accidents, in great condition, and has 53k. Yours seems pretty close or a good deal if u can bring it down a little. Regardless seems fair

I'm driving a '12 and usually drive 60-70% highway and the rest city and average about 23-24 MPG. I had a '13 Camry previously and do miss the MPG but that's about it.

Also I think that price is a pretty good deal if everything checks out on the car.

I push my 2013 G37x coupe hard and still average about 20-21 mpg. You would have to really beat on this car and drive exclusively in the city, or have something wrong with it, to only get 15-16 mpg. If I set the car on cruise control at about 70-75 mph I can easily get 25-26 mpg. The worst i have ever had, when really driving it hard and mostly off the highway driving, was about 18-19 mpg.
