Date: May 2017,

Bought 2015 Q40/G37 base with nav, 18k miles, $20800 plus tax fees, 23300 OTD.

I also purchased the elite warranty of 60mo/60k miles from the date of MY purchase for $1300.

Bringing the total to 24600 and I have the warranty even longer than a brand new one which was sold for around $36k OTD back in 2015.

BTW, not a fan of the new Q50 anyway.

Sounds about right on the elite pricing since it is under 20k. Did you go through the dealer?

Yes, I got it from infiniti dealer. The car was sold as CPO, but I ended up canceling the CPO warranty which brought the price down 1k from 21xxx. I used the money plus a 300 to get the elite. I don't see any reason having the CPO, because what CPO does is that it only extends your powertrain from 6y/60k miles to 6y/72k miles from the original date of sale. I won't drive more than 40k miles in the next 4 years, meaning the extra 12k miles is meaning less to me. At the end of the day, it is just powetrain warranty, not bumper to bumper warranty. On the other hand elite covers every thing.

AND since the car was prepared to be CPO, everything was done to match CPO standard. All filters changed, oil changed. brake pads are brand new, and tires are brand new (maybe the previous owner burnt the tires before turn it in). And for some reason, the headlight bulbs are from philips. etc, etc. I can see almost $600-$800 value for this.

Sure, with CPO, you can get a few oil change for free, and free car wash everything you go in, etc. Meaningless as well.

2013 sedan

Bought 2013 sedan certified feb 2017 at Las Vegas infiniti- 27k miles & cost 20k
All 7 were listed at 21999

At that time they had 7 leases returned & all were for sale

I was a pain in the *** to the sales men & test drove all 7- lol

Each one drove different- I picked the one with the best response & low
miles

Extended warranty for 3 1/2 more years

You said it's certified, but also said extended warranty? certified means CPO right? the one that extends powertrain warranty to 6 years 100k milesage?

Don't tell me you bought a Elite warranty on top of a CPO car, you just got rip off. basically the the extended warranty (elite) overlay with CPO warranty.

For the CPO warranty, it should end in 2019, and you have 73k miles to drive in the next 1 and half year. if you don't drive that much, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to get the CPO since you are getting elite anyway.

CPO can be cancelled and reduce the price for around $1000.

Just bought a black 2013 G37x sedan with backup camera, full black leather, sunroof, premium surround sound, and reversing sensors. Car has 69K miles, owner was an ER doctor. He drove it down from New York to El Paso. He also took regular runs down to Florida to see family there, which explains the high mileage. He wanted $16200, accepted $15700. I know this engine can run forever, so the miles didn't bother me. My wife actually wanted a 2016 Impala, but after seeing this car, and feeling the power, she was hooked (also saved us about $2K, too) I seldom get to drive the car, but it's great!
