Also, I was going over the car's condition and noticed the following:

- scratched kick plate (driver side) - I'm assuming this is considered normal wear and tear
- A few scratches on gear shifter (metal part).....probably caused by my Class ring. Normal wear and tear?
- 1-2 paint chips on hood...caused by small rocks probably
- several shallow scratches on roof...looks like a cat was chilling on it
- two shallow scratches passenger side mirror....not sure what caused them.
- some scratches on front bumper

Of the damage listed above, which would you be worried about? Is it worth getting the car detailed before the inspection?
Infiniti gives you $500 to cover damages if you lease again, correct?

Still figuring what to do....either lease a Q50 or purchase a used G37 for way less than my residual.

Thanks for your feedback.
My lease is ending in Feb.. I am paying 457/mo no money down for premium journey with nav. It was a 2 year lease and I am way under mileage and my car looks brand new inside and out. It looks like I have to pay a $350 return fee.. lame.

I was thinking about moving to a Golf R if it comes out in time, I doubt we could get a lease deal on a Q50 for the same price we got this car for, but who knows what Infiniti would offer if I tell them I'm going to VW, BMW, etc.

They are getting aggressive with the Q50 leases...evidently they are not selling as well as they had hoped. You could probably get a very good deal on a 2014 leftover...they seem to have many...

My car definitely doesn't look brand new, so I'm a little concerned. Should I bother getting it detailed?

Also, someone backed into me earlier this year... I got the car fixed but jut noticed the infiniti logo and the "G37" are not aligned properly/perfectly. I wonder if they will catch that.

One more question, Is Infiniti pretty lenient on wear & tear if you lease or finance from them again?
Can't decide if I want to lease again or just purchase a used '12-13 G37 from them.

I'm at 15,500 miles and my lease ends April 4, so I'm under but not sure if Infinite cares about that.

I think I'm going to buy my lease or a 2012-13 from the dealer.
My residual is $30,695. About 5k higher than what a '12-'13 is selling for.

NOW the question is, is it worth spending an extra 5K to keep the car I drove since day 1? What do y'all think?

Here's a used 2013 that looks good online. Maybe they would even come down on the price.

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Sounds intriguing.. I will make a call to the dealer to see what they could do

My residual on my 2012 G37S is $25.8. I originally thought that was a bit high...but the more I look around, it doesn't seem bad. The 'S' seems to be rare and commands a bit more when they do pop up. And...it seems to be running very well right now!

Oh - and my opinion is NO, it is not worth $5k to keep the car you drove since day 1. But...that's just me. It's worth SOMETHING, but not that much..

Good Luck...
