2010 G37X used purchase - need advise

Hi, I'm relatively new to the forums although I've been lurking, I have never made a post before. Recently my family and I decided that its finally time to get rid of our 2005 corolla and get a nicer car so we are looking at g37s' and since we live in Ontario, Canada it has to be AWD. I found this one, went for a test drive and looked it over and it drove nice and was clean. The dealer pulled up a carproof showing thats its been in an accident and there was a claim for $7,467 on the front left side. In your opinion would this car be worth looking at further and negotiating for, or should I avoid it because of the accident. I'm not sure if this claim would be something major or just a fender bender involving new lights, bumper, paint and labour.

Here is a link to the car ad: 2010 Infiniti G37 Luxury - Autopark Superstore

Thanks in advance!!

I would pass to be honest. You are putting your life as well as the life of your family in the hands of a vehicle that has had a collision to the extent of the damage we don't know, and we don't know if the body shop did a good job or a bad job at fixing it. If you are hell bent on this one I would seriously take it to a body shop that you trust and have them give it a thorough look over. Even if it costs you a couple of hundred to have them look at it it could give you some valuable insight to how well the car was put back together.

Truth!, If a good, Credible shop says that its a good repair then the haggle the crap out of them. But if you ever plan on reselling or trading in the car then you wont get nothing for it.
