To Buy or Not to Buy?

Hey guys, just joined the forum after falling in love with a g37s at a local dealership.

Now I find myself in a situation... I found a 2008 g37s (6 speed) in platinum graphite with under 10,000 miles being privately sold. He is the original owner, clean title and carfax (no accidents). It is fully loaded with the premium package and navigation.

He is firm at 24,000. Is it worth it? Is there anything I should look out for if I do buy it?

Any input would be great, thanks!

My ’08 Journey coupe at 25K miles in excellent condition prices out at $24,000 on KBB, so your dealer’s offer for a sport model with only 10K seems like a good deal.

But I would make sure that a TSB involving the original battery and replacement of an emissions valve on ’08’s has been performed under warranty.

If the recall hasn't been done, does the factory still do it for free or does it have to be paid for?

It's from a private seller. Does that mean its over priced then?

If the fix hasn’t yet been done, the warranty should still be honored at any dealer. I’m not sure about the battery, though, as the original battery is only under warranty for two years. But that’s still a good price from a private seller due to the low mileage.

That's a pretty good deal IMO.
