Good/Bad: Just Purchased 09 G37S with Premium for 25,995

I have been researching this car for 9 months. Finally pulled the trigger and bought one out of Texas. 2009 Infiniti G37 Dallas Fort Worth Area - Find Great Deals on Infiniti G37 and Other Infiniti Vehicles in Stock: Infiniti G37 Dallas, Infiniti G37 North Richland Hills

Details:
2009 G37S
Black on Black
Sport Package, Premium package
31k miles
clean car fax
visibly spotless, perfect condition

I did something I never thought I would do though. I bought a car I never saw in person or drove. I thought the deal was too good. They financed for 2.99 @ 60 months. and I paid an extra 700 to have it shipped to me in Charlotte. Texas would have been a 1,000 mile trip. After tax, fees and to have the car shipped, it was 27,666. Good deal, average deal, bad deal? The car is getting shipped Monday

Thanks. I had them write me up a detailed list of every crack, every imperfection on the car that wouldnt be there if it was new. The only thing that they could comment on was one wheel has a little scratch and the steering wheel has some scratches. Other then that, it looks like its brand new and actually still smells like it. I'm a little nervous but I talked to 4 different people from the company, even the manager and they handled my million questions really well and seemed to be legit honest people. Testing the integrity of the human race. Dont let me down

Paid $27k even for my premium S coupe with 17k miles on it back last October.

Unfortunately, I don't think you got that good of a deal. But if you're happy with it, that's all that matters

just my two cents, but i never buy a used car w/o my mechanic giving it a complete inspection..........

glad to hear it's flawless on the outside, but how is it mechanically? That's what I'd want to know...

I'd say it's a pretty good deal.

Sounds like its an ok deal, at least you will be within your factory bumper to bumper warranty so keep a close ear out for anything that may sound abnormal and if so bring that baby right to the dealer. No worries.

Ymmv, but me personally, i'd never buy any vehicle sight unseen or not driven. I realize people do this all the time (you're one example). I just don't trust any used car salesman to truly represent the car.

What you probably should have done is had someone from this board or your local G/Z forum take a look at the car, drive it, then give you their assessment. They're a neutral party with nothing to gain/lose. The dealership wants to sell the car.

Also, check out penfed.com for auto loans - 1.49% for up to 60 months.

Update: I have had the car for a week now. It is a beauty. As perfect and flawless as the dealership described it. It looks like a brand new car. Looks like I got lucky on this one. I have got more compliments over the past week than I did over the combined life of my previous cars.

Then if this is the case...then you got a great deal. Enjoy your vehicle and you may thank the humans over at that dealership after 6 months of problem-free driving, for having such high integrity We need pictures...

Yeah. It seems perfect to me. I'm taking it in in 2 days to get oil change, differential fluid changed and whatever else they think. I don't have the history of the maintenance and it has 32k so hopefully I don't have to dump too much money. I bought the G all kinds of goodies today though, Wheel Cleaner, Wheel Protector, Interior Protector, Leather Cleaner and Leather Conditioner. Anyways here's some pics. Probably boring to you since its 100% stock but shes a beaut to me.
