Just to add, original tires look brand new, no curb rash or burned-in brake dust on the rims, car drives straight as an arrow with no vibration on the highway. Was told some old guy had it before me and that he traded it in for a Lexus. The Infiniti dealership pulled up the records and even though he didn't drive the car much he still got the oil changed every three months. We figured he must have been well-off financially and that this was his 2nd or 3rd car. The interior is immaculate, except for some lines on the lowers drivers seat where you get into the car and the drivers seat leather is no longer as tight as the rest of the leather in the rest of the car. The leather in the car is very fragile, am I correct? I have a 2000 Volvo S70 that had 141,000 miles on it when I bought it and the drivers seat looked better than the infiniti's if I remember correctly.

yeah, the seats on our cars are pretty weak. Check out the famous seat bubbling issue that most owners here have. For a 7,600miles car both ext and int must be immaculate.. it's basically a new car!

you def got a really good deal. Don;t worry about the sport package though IMO, if you really want the sport feeling do your own mods.

Good news. Dealer ordered me a new bottom seat leather and cushion. Anybody in the Baltimore area that wants to trade my regular seats for their sports seat?

Just an update. Nothing better to do so i'm just looking through some old post. You guys made me feel so bad about not having the sports package, lol. November 2014 traded the car in for $14,500 with 56,000 miles on it. Bought my current car, 2012 auto IPL melbec black with red interior, with 11,100 miles for $32,500 at Atlantic city Nissan. Roughly 69,000 miles now. Between the 2 cars I've never had a single check engine light come on. That's over seven years. Only warranty work I've had done to the IPL is a new dead pedal cause the old one had some rust on it. Believe I've only bought 2 sets of new tires in those 7 years. Pretty reliable car. The main issue i have is that the drivers seat is a little lopsided towards the drivers side from getting in and out and just supporting my weight. Very uncomfortable. Heard these seats were designed for the small frames of Asian men, and i believe it. I'm 6'1, 190. My passenger seat is more comfortable and not lopsided and not as snug. Had the same issue with with the old car. Don't know if the seats are designed that way on purpose or not. When i still had bumper to bumper tried getting a new seat under warranty but the dealer played dumb like they didn't know what i was talking about. Probably cause, i believe, the seat is like $2200 or something. Any solutions?

wow, way to revive an old thread, at least its your own though!..try ebay for a new seat bottom, there are tons available, otherwise try an upholster who can maybe put in new foam padding if the leather itself is in good shape.

I fixed the seat on my own. Unscrewed the 4 bolts and just leaned the seat back. I cut open a pillow with foam inside and just stuffed it under the spring on one side. As you can see from this ebay pic the seat is nothing but these weak springs and foam. The foam gets compressed after awhile on one side from getting in and out.
