Brought home a G!
Brought home a G!
Joined this forum over 5 years ago to learn about the G35 but ended up buying another car. This time around, the G37 won out. This will be my wife's car so it will stay in its' stock form except for a good tint job. Here are the details of the purchase:
2011 Infiniti G37 Journey Sedan
Graphite Shadow / Graphite
Premium Package
Navigation Package
Splash Guards
Trunk Mats, Trunk Net and First Aid Kit
Illuminates Kick Plates
MSRP: $40,640
INVOICE: $37,286
PAID: $34,100*
OTD: $36,200*
*OTD and PAID off by a few $'s (less than $25)
Also took advantage of Infiniti's current finance offer. Think we got a pretty good deal! Let me know what you think.

Thought about getting the Sports Package but my wife did not much care about any of the features included in it. She will also have a newborn in the backseat 95% of the time so the regular suspension should be a bit more comfortable for her needs. We had initially gone in thinking we would look at the G25 but it just seemed underpowered.
As for the price, I think this is the perfect time to buy an Infiniti. They've got great incentives going right now until 1/3/11. I didn't expect to get a deal like this on a 2011. If you've been waiting for the right time to buy any Infiniti, I recommend you go in before the 3rd and see what kind of deal you can get.
Stuck to my guns and told them I would not pay any more than $2,750 less than invoice for the car and options I wanted (got the figure from zag.com). They threw in the Trunk Mats, Trunk Net and First Aid Kit & Illuminates Kick Plates for free because I told them I would not pay for options on the car that I did not want, otherwise they would've had to transfer another car in from out-of-state which I wasn't willing to wait for. This brought the purchase price on the car to almost $3,200 under invoice when including those free options.
