January 2011 Infiniti lease rates

For are some G37 numbers for those looking...they look dang good still. I guess I wouldn't mind getting into another G once my coupe lease ends, but I'm weary of the $4-$5 gas prices...

Anyway, here ya go.

2011 INFINITI G37 SEDAN JOURNEY
36month | 15k miles | residual 60% | .00100 base money factor

2011 INFINITI G37 COUPE JOURNEY
36month | 15k miles | residual 64% | .00138 base money factor

Rest of the Infiniti lineup can be found HERE

Hey G, that residual for the coupe seems low. I thought it was about 69% for the x Coupe for 15K. Did it go down that much from the December numbers? Also, I got my G37x Sedan with 62% residual with 15K. Is there that much difference between the Journey models and x ones?

Update: Never mind, I looked at the site and the x Sedan residual is 62%. Still, the coupe seems low, but maybe I'm wrong.

The coupe numbers have come down a bit compared to the 2010 models. This isn't abnormal since the banks seem to adjust them a bit when a new model year arrives. But I wouldn't worry too much since banks usually adjust the MF to try to stay around the same ballpark as the year before.

G, can I ask you something? Do you see a lot of difference in lease numbers from when you got your G37 to today? I mean, average monthly payments. I'm asking because I'll be getting a coupe or a vert down the road, and I wonder what king of differences I'll see in a few years.

The lease rates last year were much better than when I got mine in 2008. For the same payment I make now $1300 drive-off and $424 a month (with tax). I would have probably been rolling in a Sport Coupe MT with a few more options instead of a Base Coupe. Last fall and early Winter, the coupe was an insane deal.

As for the future, its hard to say because in 2008, a great price was $100 over invoice. Nowadays, I wouldn't touch anything at or over invoice. Then again, the economy is worse now than it was in 2008. Should the economy start to rebound in 3 years, you could be looking at a higher sale price on the G37s in general, not to mention a higher sticker price due to inflation.

I was figuring out payments right now & a fully load G37 coupe journey with premium, navi & sport pack plus spoiler I got $380 a month with taxes & bank fee & title up front. 36 month lease with 15k miles....does that seem right with those lease rates? (and i figured in the $2,000 incentives and about $3,000 off MSRP so total of $5,000 off)

And for a 39 month lease looking at $360 a month....

Sounds about right. The coupe is cheaper to lease than the sedan due to the higher residual value. Great deal, jump on it.

chico, see I was thinking of doing a regular coupe instead of the X due to better mileage & the suspension on the car isn't jacked up higher like on X. You think it would be more cost efficent to get a non X coupe & get a set of 18's with winter tires on them during the snow season? I'm on LI...

You might have a hard time finding a Journey in NY. Being cost effective? That depends, if you are buying, then there's a difference of about $1800, so you might save some money there. But if you're leasing, it might not save you money. Even tough the Journey is cheaper, the AWD has a higher residual value, which makes it a better value. So the difference at the end might be only a few dollars a month and you don't have to worry about buying another set of wheels and changing them every winter. Also, the new sport suspension in the x is the same as the one in the Journey, which means they have the same height unlike the non-sport xCoupe. Remember to add the cost of the extra wheels to your budget if you go the Journey route. Another thing, the East Coast receives almost only x cars, so you might find a better deal on an x than a Journey. Good luck.

Hey Chico,

Thanks for clarifying that with the height on the car! Makes me feel better. Im looking at a MSRP of $47,825, figure with incentives come to $41,000? 36 month lease with 15k miles per yr would be $380 a month....
is that selling price a bit steep for a G Coupe X?

$41000 it's a great price, about $2800 below invoice. $380/month for that car it's awesome. Good luck. Let me know how it goes.

Will do! Im just waiting for the right opportunity to make the move on this
car. Got a lot of trips I have planned out so trying to see what I need to cut back on doing like going out every weekend & spending $$$ like it grows on trees lol. I know I won't be able to pull the trigger in january, so I'm hoping the $2,000 incentives & lease rates stay the same....

You get a better deal with the 39-month lease. The difference depends on the monthly rates. It's not that much tough, a few bucks a month.

You think you will save that much doing a 39 mo lease? You will have to pay an extra years registration.
