My purchase on 12/30

2011 G37x AWD Sedan - Graphite Shadow/Graphite
Premium Package - Splash Guards - Trunk Mat/Net/First-Aid Kit

MSRP - $40,040
Invoice - $36,886
Selling Price - $32,964
OTD - $36,000 flat

Selling price is great! Local tax sucks. But still an excellent deal overall.

Thank you all for posting useful info here.

Thanks. It appeared that they were under a lot of pressure to boost their sales of 2010. So this was a win-win situation. They were pretty happy about it too. The price was a little incredible at first. I checked the VIN online - it's a 2011 model; and the odometer - only 8 miles. And the surface, and the interior....So far so good. This is my first Infiniti car. I hope my good feeling will last down the road.

I'll trade you. Talk about being jealous! Great deal compared to TX! If TX people swung such a deal, please post! I will go take it out on the dealer.

Too bad they aren't so anxious to now get rid of the brand new M37x. Negotiating on that car for my father was a real pain! It seems that the Gs have much more flexibility - probably because the M is a brand new car.

I bought on the same day too. You got an incredible price. I was pretty happy with my $2300 below invoice price. Now I am not so sure. Well, the cost of living here is one of the highest in the country. In fact, it has the highest median household income of all metro areas in the country.

Great deal! I was just a little confused because you said they were pressured to sell their 2010 but you got a 2011?

Or maybe they were just pressured to sell cars in general in the year 2010.

4K under invoice is nuts!

I meant the sales of the YEAR 2010. Generally dealers want to sell more cars at the end of a year and occasionally they may lose money to do so in order to get bonus or some other leverage in the coming year.

I guess it's fair to take cost of living into account. And local tax rates as well. I know some people got better OTD price than I did, even though the selling price was not nearly as great (who cares!).
