Leasing Car and Getting it Serviced

Sorry newbie here... I am leasing a g37 and my 7500 mile maintenance is coming up. The dealer is going to charge me $150... Do I have to pay for this service since I am leasing it? And if not, is it necessary for me to get the service?

The services down the line seem to cost a lot 15k for $450 and 30K for $1100... Do I really need to get it serviced if I am just leasing the car?

Thanks for your help!

I got my 08 back in july and all service for the 2 years I am leasing it is free..including the major ones at 15 and 30k and the oil changes in between.

Unfortunately for you, it sounds like you didnt get a similar deal meaning you will have to pay for it.

maintenance can be done at non-Infiniti service centers unless it is specified in your contract that you must use an Infiniti certified service center. That usually doesn't happen on leases. I did my 3750 service last month and it was complimentary. I still have 2 more oil changes on top of that as part of my negotiation. Once that done, I'm won't be taking it in to Infiniti for service anymore, way too expensive for my blood.

Heh, of course you do. It's part of your contract. They're not just going to lease out cars for years without regard for maintenance.

With my deal I only get the first oil change free and will have to pay for the rest. All services are free exapt for the oil changes.
