It's all "limited in quantity", therefore a marketing. You used M as example and it said "ONLY ONE" at that price. I stand correct.

I used that as an example because it's the one I felt like using. Are you incapable of lateral analysis? I gave you a link to view the OTHERS which prove this is far from a 1 shot marketing ploy. And I also told you to go visit this dealership and talk to the GM before you talk smack. Are you thick in the skull? And yes, you do stand corrected.

The point here is that the OP's offer of $8k off - IS NOT a ridiculous offer; the other point is that salesmen are clueless.

Hey are you Keng ... at Infiniti Riverside?

Use an extreme example to prove your point is pointless. Being a grammer **** does not make your point right. 8k off on a G37 is ridculous, even from the link you provided, they are only giving 4K off MSRP on the G37 Coupe on all cash offer.

Dude, you're not very bright are you? As I said in my original thread - THE G's WILL SOON FOLLOW - which means the discounts are not quite there yet (despite the fact that I can get $6k off RIGHT NOW on a G Coupe from THIS dealer TODAY).

- This dealer has ONE new M45 on their lot (hence the ad - NOT a ploy).
- This dealer has FOUR new M35s on their lot (hence the ad - NOT a ploy).
- This dealer has ONE new Q on their lot (hence the ad - NOT a ploy).

I GAVE you the tools to save yourself ... but you still don't catch on. YOU'VE GOTTA BE MIKE KENG!! C'MON tell us the truth.

And if you think I just corrected you on grammar ... wow ... those two words mean two different things.

Will Soon Follow? Why don't you tell us how will the market do on Monday fortune teller? Did I say the deal is fake? No, I said it's marketing. How's ad not marketing?

I don't know what are you trying to prove or do that if I am the same person as Mike Kang, if you have issue with him, take it to him. Drop it.

Yeah, I can tell you don't know what I'm trying to prove.

What I'm trying to prove, genius, is that the OP's offer of $8k is not a ridiculous offer. That was my one and only point until you, genius, came in here spouting off about some marketing ploy (I've gone above and beyond in proving it to you that it's not, yet you still choose to take the position of a salesman).

So I gave you an example ... several in fact. As it concerns the G Coupe specifically you can get $4k off now easy, $6k if you go talk to this GM at THIS dealer as I've told you repeatedly, and ... wait a couple months and you'll likely get your $8k off. Do you understand any of this?

Which brings me to conclude that you indeed must be a particular salesman with a similar name ... or just dense. I've seen your other posts on this board ... so likely the latter in your case.

You are using a M model 10k off MSRP with ONE avaliable, to prove your point that an offer of 8k off on a G Coupe is not riduculous. How does that make sense? You are comparing apple to orange. We all know generally car depreciate everyday it has been out of the factory, so no need mentioning that. So the word marketing equals to ploy to you? Maybe you need learn the real definition.

marketing

noun
1. the exchange of goods for an agreed sum of money [syn: selling]
2. the commercial processes involved in promoting and selling and distributing a product or service; "most companies have a manager in charge of marketing"
3. shopping at a market; "does the weekly marketing at the supermarket"

Watch me go there in December one day after it snows. There gonna have a lot full of new AWD 09's and RW 08's. What u thinks gonna happen? There gonna start throwing car keys at me and prices. By that point it will be 8k off msrp maybe more. The dealership gave me a call yesterday when i was at work and i told them i wasnt interested in their salesman/prices, they told me to come in for a test drive and demanded i tell them who the salesman was.

Hey I had similar experience at Troy dealership, they gave me sh-t for even taking test drive. I live near Novi dealer, and those guys just threw me the keys and said "be back before 6". All the dealerships in Troy act snotty because of all the high end cars sold in that motor mall. Even though there's 3 dealers locally (troy, novi, ann arbor) I bought mine from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Kind of a drive, but well worth it since I used VPP plus an additional $500 off. They are hurting worse than Detroit economy, so give them a try. Did all my negotiation over the phone.

But my parents are boaters too, and my dad is always trying to get the best deal by paying cash. Funny you say that.

Your low ball is pretty low, but I don't blame you for trying. I've been helping my buddy look for Evo GSR this week, and I just calling dealers all over the state with low ball offers. One dealer had car for $38k msrp, and I asked for $34k out the door. She gaffed, but I said just check with sales manager. She called back 15 minutes later with counter offer of $34,500 OUT THE DOOR. Thats about $6k off msrp when you include tax, title, doc fees and license.

You never know if you don't ask. Keep on trying bro. Good luck.
