I'm on the fence on this one...
hmm...
I'm going to try another dealership. I have a feeling some dealerships might have more "PULL" than others in terms of relationship with IFS and their local banks.
Something just didn't feel too right when I dealt with my local dealer.

I honestly don't see how anyone pays $800+ in a car payment. Jesus!
To anyone that would lease or buy for that much, I'd say wait another year and save up if you really need to have THAT particular car.
To the original poster...good luck to you man...I hope you find the best deal you can.

$800 for a car payment is alot to some and chump change to others, theres a reason why we are so proud to rock a G37. Imagine the face of a person when you are at dinner and you tell them you have a G37 and your GFs buddy drives a Hyunda Elantra, or even a..... what the heck you call them pos? Dodge ****, i blanked out, its the same junk as the Chrysler sebring.lol $800 is alot, but dont you think its like a civic payment compared to the dude that rocks an Amg S600?
DOMO
gofgr8, you really should try waiting for your "chickens to hatch" before you post these threads...

$800 for a Clk 55 amg gotta be a lease, no way its gonna be to purchase. you can probably lease a G for $500ish $800 is a total different ballpark for leasing. you do the math $800x60month payments is only $48,000, i know that they are not going out the door for $48,000 with tax and tags included.

It's too much. AND it has 9000 miles on it? no thanks. You're better off leaving that dealership. Glad you came here to double check first, it'll save you tons of money.
goodluck with your purchase!!

You can a new car for much less money...
Well, no car.
But I did learn something - that the local dealer wasn't telling me the full truth. They said it was due to lack of credit history, but in fact it was more than that.
Apparently, they tried to get a car from another dealer (Ray Catena Infiniti) for me, and they said they could. But after the local dealer declined me, I called up Ray Catena's and found out their 6MT's weren't allowed to be dealer swapped anyway because of the low supply.
Anyway, I'm still in no rush to get the car although it would've been great to get one sooner than later.

taking a look at the New England Dealers...
Which brings me to the question - what's the best dealership in the New England area that is willing to deal?
I've talked with:
Prime Infiniti - best pricing at invoice, somewhat sloppy service on one occasion;
Ray Catena - aggressive in dealing with banks but won't give best price;
Bill Dodge - very personable, work with customers well, will negotiate to fair pricing.
...and they all seem different. The latter two had the best service but Prime had the best pricing.
Any others?
