Crashed Today, Need Some Help

While going left around a corner, I spun out, ended up swerving right and into a hedge with a hidden fence behind it at about 15 mph. No airbags were set off but my front bumper is pretty messed up. Numerous dents, little scratches, and then a major hole in the bottom left side (I believe from the fence). The lower grill also fell out and I noticed when trying to put it back in, there is a square hole that I believe holds I piece I lost in the crash. I didn't discover this until I got back home. Any idea what that piece is? Thanks

* New to the forum - hope I can get some help

Pics would help, also year and model of your car. Unless you just want random guessing.... in that case I say license plate bracket.

Kemosabe says a new aftermarket front bumper is in your future.

Its posted in Sedan. G37 sedans are only 2009-2010. Also both are different bumpers, and sport non sport.
Just sayin.

On at least the 2009 G37S there is a removable square plug in the lower right grill. It is called a "Bumper Finisher". The hole it covers is used to access the stud which is used for the towing eye.

Sorry to hear about your crash.

Thanks man. That sounds exactly like what I'm talking about. Right now I feel so stupid for trying to test out VDC off. Basically I gassed it left, the back tires came around (like normal) but then as I was straightening out, everything swerved right and I was screwed. BAM! Fence. No more of that for some time.

Ouch. That sucks. Empty parking lot or some other controlled environment next time.
