Good or bad Deal?
I doubt you could get this for $37k unless they are selling at a deep discount. HighMike just likes beating up on people and the price they got

That aside, lemme see if we can work backwards and guess what you paid...because I'm bored.

If you paid invoice price of $38.6k, then your monthly payment would be:
$548 per month. With tax of 8.25% that works out to be about $600 per month.
That means what you paid is somewhere between invoice and MSRP.
Using the auto calculator on bankrate.com to get your monthly payment of $619 gives me a loan amount of:
$34,550. (how much you borrowed)
That means you paid in total $42,550 for your car including tax and license out the door. Yay for math and working backwards.
More than this, it's hard to tell if you got ripped off or not depending on your local taxes...if you had a tax rate of 8.25% then you're looking at a sale price on the car of about $39.3k, which is about $700 over invoice. Not great but not horrible as some say either.
You come out better if the tax in your area is higher than 8.25, and you come out worse off if your tax is lower than that figure. I may have messed up the math somewhere but I think this could be close...

Still, I doubt that there are people that would sell your car config at this time for $1600 under invoice unless you're holding their children hostage or something...
All quotes in the phx and chicago area have been mid 37's with no NEGOTIATION.
Mike, what should I be paying for a G37 S with NAVI, PREM, SPOILER, and all the small options? In your opinion. If the dealer doesn't have the car on the lot. Meaning they have to find the car and transport it to their dealership. It seems like the buyer loses a little negotiating power then, am I right?
Never, NEVER have them transport a vehicle.
