Lease now, or wait till July/Aug?

Hey all,

I have 2 payments left on my current lease and I'm starting to look for a new toy.

I see a lot of people on the boards here getting great deals and I was wondering if leasing now would get me a better deal than in July or August (historically I have no clue when Infiniti's "season" is).

thanks in advance

If you get a good deal then take it...if not, then wait

i'm planning on waiting to see what the 09 model brings (i know it wont be much.. but i'd hate to regret not waiting a few months)

Any day ending with 'day' is a good one to get a great deal. There isn't a "perfect" time to buy or lease; if there really was, we'd all be waiting for that one perfect hour to which we all hit the dealership and still "think about it" in the end anyway. Be smart and work with your local dealership and get all the facts and make your decision if the time is right.

i would put money that the 09 will be the same... AT MOST -new rims for the sport package and possible the new gauge sweep seen on the FX (which is really sweet and possibly worth waiting just for that reason alone)..

However, 09's mean you could get a better deal on an 08! so do it! get the 08 if your gonna lease. thats my 2 cents. it would be different if the 08's had defects or recalls but they don't. im sure in the summer you'll see some good deals. just keep an eye out and visit many dealerships. Also, im sure all the attention will drawn to the new FX this summer so that might give you some leverage -not sure.

Just keep in mind that the residuals on a lease for an '08 model at that time will be much lower since the '09 models would be available making the payment higher. It would be better to buy the '08 model at that time vs. a new '09.
