Wheel Powdercoating & Lease

I was thinking of getting my wheels powdercoated to a darker color and also to cover up the damage i did to them. See what i did here..... http://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=213536.

But my car is a lease, do you think i will have a problem when i give back the car? I'm thinking of this color or darker

some dealers dont mind as long as it doesnt affect the way the rims perform. But just to be safe, call in and double check with a sales rep.

just trade it back in at night, the dealer probably wont notice in 2-3 years. It's actually not their car if you've ever worked with a lease before, you have the option to turn your car back to ANY infiniti dealership in your area, or if you move, you dont need to drive to your original dealership to "ground" the car. They just never tell you that because they want you to come back and buy something again.

The bank owns it, and the dealer has the option to buy it back when you turn it in and re-sell it, but most of the time it just goes to an auction. Its the banks private company appraisers that come check the car out first you need to worry about!! park your car in the garage maybe they wont notice either!!! DO IT

^^ He's pretty much right. Only thing is that you'll be out that money to power coat your rims when you turn in the vehicle, unless you buy out the residual at the end.
