Leases Vs. Purchase

Hey i was getting ready to get a g37s coupe... i really havent decided between the 6mt or the journey with sports... I was thinking about leasing the car for 3 years.. now my thing is the average lease people are paying is mid 400's with about 3k down... If I were to put a total of 9000 down on a 3 year lease... would the dealership let me even do this for one? two would that even really even effect my payments.. located in atlanta georgia if anyone works at infiniti near me.. I am still 24 years old so my father will co-sign the vehicle for me which makes credit not a issue... i personally proably plan on changing my car in the next 3 years so i figured ill just drive this for a while and then jump into a brand new 2011 or 2012 car...

why would you even think about putting 9 g's toward a lease? if you total your car in an accident, you lose all of that money!!!

^ What he said. Why don't you use the search button or buy a book on leasing. The more money you put down on a lease the more you stand to lose. Figure out what you can pay per month to drive(payments, insurance, gas, maintenance) and then buy the car that fits that budget. Reducing the monthly payments with a big down stroke is a shell game. Good luck.

Concurred, that much cap reduction just lowers your lease payment even I wouldn't advise it.
