how is this deal.

hey i am thinking about leasing a g37. i want a 6 speed, premium, navi, ilum kick panels, and splash guards.

when i test drove one the sales man told me he would work up some lease numbers and call me back.

his first offer was very bad compared to what every one on here is paying.

42500
670 a month tax included
1000 down
15000 miles a year.

i dont know any other numbers for that deal.

i went back a week later and told him i had a friend that got a much better deal out of town. i asked him for the residual value and money factor.

he told me he could do 41500

residual value 63%
money factor .00208
39 months
12000 miles per year.
i put that in the lease calculator and got around 560.00 with 9% tax(i think that is the rate here.)
i would have to put first month payment down and pau some fees.

that alot better but i wanted to see what you all thought.
he told me he would try to work up a better deal and he would call me back.

FYI, residual percent for 12k annual miles on a 39 month lease is really 64%. Money factor for March 2008 at .00208 (4.99% APR) is correct for 39 months and they can't mark that up.

BTW, this dealer isn't giving you that much of a deal on this.

he aked like they would do 41500 for the car. do you think i can do better?

It's tough to calculate everything especially since different states have different regulations on automobiles and taxes and I'm unclear as to where you reside. If you were in California, I'd say you can be under $500 monthly if your credit qualifies you for that rate & have no trade.

Step 1 : Find Invoice on Edmunds
Step 2 : Dont pay more than Invoice + 500, many people are getting them at Invoice or less.

The only legit fee is IFS acquisition fee of 595 which must be added to the sales price. (of course, tag and taxes are not considered a fee)
