My dealer offering VPP to all

I got a letter stating they are offering sale or lease VPP pricing on all in-stock vehicles.
Is this now becoming common as the winter sets in ?

Yup... VPP has been available on all vehicles for about a month or so. The G37 was the only one not for a while.

What I mean to say, is that anyone (not just employees) can get the discount pricing now.

There are reports of many dealers offering invoice pricing. This is a sign of slumping sales of the model.

Only plan A&B. C&D tacks on delivery fees which brings it above invoice.

you pay half the delivery fee...so combined with the 1.65% discount, isn't that still under invoice?

Well I just got VPP-D plan and it was about $300 above invoice, but they gave me $500 owner loyalty so i got it for $200 below invoice. Drove from Detroit to Fort Wayne, Indiana (about 2.5 hrs) to get the car. The salesguy even told me the only reason they gave me that great of a deal was to make quota for November. Sales are slow and they can't move the G37s at all.

Do the math...

D PLAN

* Dealer invoice
* Minus VPP discount (Nissan 2.87% : Infiniti 1.65%)
* Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, Infiniti Extended Protection Plan, etc.
* Plus 2.5% delivery fee of dealer invoice after VPP discount has been subtracted
* Plus destination and handling charge
* Minus applicable incentives
* Equals participant's purchase price

When a dealership sells a new vehicle to you at the pre-negotiated price indicated above, it qualifies for a 5 percent delivery fee. For Business Associate companies and their employees and the employee's spouse (D Plan), NNA pays half the fee and the customer pays the other half. Please note that only dealerships in the continental United States, Hawaii and Alaska are eligible to participate in the VPP.
