I believe its a Rebate you get after the purchase, and I thought it was only for leases?

no, not a rebate, and no, not for leases only. i paid for my car today and it was taken right off the contract.

One of the salesman that i'm working with said it was my choice to use it against the purchase or put towards drive-offs. But yea, it's not actually cash you get back I was told.
