dealer commission

Does anybody know how the commission system works when selling a car? Or do they even a % out of it?
Just wanted to know how much my dealer got for selling a G37.

Your saleperson made some good money if you bought the G at MSRP. They made even more if they leased it to you at MSRP. I sold cars a few years back and I made $3000 commission on a new Maxima lease. The real money though, is in used cars.

That tells you how much they get. I've read that site 12 times or more, to learn all I can.

I say it depends on what they give you, to how much you pay them. If they give you a good deal, like Dealers cost, give them 4-5 % for "hooking you up", if they give you Invoice, give them 3% and the finger j/k

But either way, they're making their $,$$$
