Southern California Region Deals?

I'm in So Cal looking for an infiniti dealer near the Inland Empire/Los Angeles area that'll deal under MSRP. So far i've tried a couple of dealers but no dice. I was wondering what kinda deal you got if you bought in the Southern California area? Curious as to what i can possibly deal with!

What dealers in soCal have you tried? What was the response when you asked for under MSRP? I am also in soCal and I would like to know what deals people are getting as well.

I tried 4 dealers in the LA area all of them quoted me MSRP and thats what I paid. Below are the 4 dealers I talked too.

Miller Infiniti - Van Nuys
Thousand Oaks Infiniti
Glendale Infiniti
Infinity of Santa Moinica.

Ended up getting my car in Santa Monica only because they had a good selection and the exact car I wanted. It came off the truck 2 days before I talked to them. I also got a great interest rate from them but only because the sales guys quoted me wrong and I held him to it.

Good luck.

I got 6.09 but it may be lower now that the feds cut the rate by 1/2 point.

I'm trying to arrange a group buy for the end of October. Drop me a line if you are interested.

Most of the dealers here claim that they can't keep the cars on the lot, BUT they all have more than 15 sitting there. I don't know what the hell they are thinking.

If you decide to do it on your own I suggest you go on the last day of the month and try to negotiate. Good luck!

I don't think the fed rate cut will have anything to do with interest rates. Infiniti knows this is a new car, and that people that like brand new things will spend for them regardless of the rate. If you think we have at bad take a look at the money factor for the 08' 335i's, it is some where in the area of .0030. We probably won't see an MF rate cut until the end of the year.

As for negotiating, if you bug enough, you might get someone to budge. So far I have had two dealerships willing to give me a few hundred off MSRP. I think the sales guys are more than likely not allowed to go below 500 off. Since it's so close to October, I might like to work with CarAddict on a group deal.

Hmm, so how do group deals work exactly? Never experienced one But I know y'all get a bigger discount for buying a few cars in a single purchase, other than that, i dunno jack about it.

go to mission viejo (where i bought mine) or cerritos. everyone says msrp, but when you start to leave they change their tune. both said no one is dealing, i said i'm in no hurry. my '05 was worth way more than i owed, i made my deal telling them i owed way more than i did. i kind of like playing the game, and got a smoking deal. they made money, i was happy, and they got a good trade. everyone won.

they said i paid msrp but i didnt. they just bump up your trade value, that way they can still say they dont discount from sticker. its a little tough to come up with an real figure with trades involved. at first they offered me $20k for my car, i laughed and said give me my keys. nearly $6k later, we had a deal. my '05 had around 37k miles and some nice parking lot dents on the passenger side. why is it, people always hit the top dead center of the wheel well.

it all boils down to supply and demand. that, and how bad you want the car NOW. i was worried my car would drop in value later so i did the deal now. i might have been able to do better later, but not much.

totally off topic, but not really. i went to look at a gt500 before i bought the g. sticker was 45k. next to the sticker was another sticker that said 65k. i told the guy i wasnt interested even though other people might be. they called me 5 times over the next week, and i could have got it for sticker. who the heck would pay 65k for a mustang? i mean 45k is not bad for 500hp, but it was a crappy car.
