They will only start to deal on G37s when they are SURE they won't sell it to someone for full price or close.

Here in Austin, which appears to be G35 Coupe capital of the world from the looks of the freeways, they are taking list and don't even want to discuss a discount. Our only dealership is the #1 dealer in the U.S. -- that is, they sell the most cars of all Infiniti dealerships nationwide.

And, it seems they have no trouble selling them. If you have the patience, find a town that doesn't sell a lot of Infiniti's and hit them up. Likely Infiniti knows they don't sell a lot and thus their allocation will be small. So, they might not have the car you want but if you are flexible, you can probably get a good deal. If you have your heart set on a very specific car, like I did, you're going to pay top dollar until the buzz wears off in your area, or you are going to wait a long time for a small dealer to get their hands on the car you want.

Next Oct/Nov/Dec it will probably be possible to get a discount on an 08 since the 09s will be here, but until then, I'm betting sticker here in Austin, TX.

Im thinking that since winter time is approaching in NY, demand has to go down. Ive also got someone in pennsylvania checking out the situation there, but Im on Long Island and would rather not take the trip. I guess we will see what happens, but the dealership over here had plenty on the lot, and there were definitely no lists. So we shall see....

To be honest, it all boils down to:

Supply & Demand...

Exactly. In my area there is plenty of supply, and the demand im sure is high to although there were cars on the lot in the exact color I wanted that they were trying to get rid of. Im hoping I can get a good deal if that exists.

We own the cars for Invoice. There is a couple hundred dollars that the dealer retains per vehicle sold. Also, if I sell 100 cars on this forum, that's 100 people telling their family and friends about us.

How much would shipping be from Cali to eastern Canada? Would they stop at the border and the buyer has to do the paperwork say on the New York side before buyer has to take possession or is it delivered right to your door?
