When are you putting them on??

I actually figured you would be interested in these, I'll provide an actual user review once they go in next month but from my non-suspension engineer POV:
  • 1/4" Min. Front/Rear drop according to Tanabe : https://www.tanabe-usa.com/pro-cr.asp?id=23
  • Dampers by KYB
  • PRO210 Springs - Tanabe uses them on their race cars, whatever that means for the street I don't know but they ride good.
  • Height adjustable only with preset dampening
  • Twin Tube
Having had these on my TSX(8k/4k front/rear) previously I can just about guarantee they'll be very comfortable and controlled on the street, well balanced high and low speed dampening, with plenty of bump and droop travel so long as you keep the ride height sensible. They'll be able to handle nearly all but the roughest of roads while being too soft for the track, and that is a trade off I'm willing to make for this cars situational use.

I have the spec/install excel file from Tanabe for them if you would like me to email it you, be warned though its a hard to understand and not very detailed.
Who uses an excel format over PDF or something for an install and spec document anyway?

Edit: Came across this R&D article from Tanabe that really sold them for me a while back. Remember the s0c and CR coilovers are EXACTLY the same minus the color according to Tanabe USA directly!:

Nice. Yeah, I kinda read up on them a bit. Good stuff, it seems. I like that they have shortened bodies. Means the usable stroke is longer (assuming a few completely sensible things).

I was looking for almost this exact thing when I was searching for suspension options. It would be nice if the damper was adjustable...but whatever...still looks like a great overall package for someone like me...who was looking for a more "business casual" drop.

Thanks for the offer on the manual. For my own good, I must decline. I'm already as curious as a kitten on trying them out. I just want to finish the projects I already have going on first. Sending me the manual is going to make me want to add coilovers to the instructions.

DAMMIT they even post max and min height photos. I wish every company would do this.

The "max high" drop is just about exactly what I'd be looking for. Just something to bring down the front like 1/2 - 3/4" and the rear maybe some small, immeasurable amount.

This fu#&ing company understands me

Exactly my thoughts looking at those pics. Do that, then add some 10-15mm spacer adapters behind those duckfeet, and it would look perfectly normal and proper.

Went into the day hoping for sub 2:00's but mostly just trying to get comfortable being on track again and learning the car. I was running 2:01's consistently with a PB of 1:59 so I'm pretty happy overall. The car ran great and held up well throughout the day, I had two mirror issue that I'll go over when a do more thorough breakdown.

In the mean time here's my 1:59 lap, any and all feedback is welcomed :
I apologize for the video quality. I forgot to change the case door on my GoPro, the mount was too long to be stable, and it was really sunny out.

And of'course the obligatory new gold calipers lol

Nice driving. I'm jealous that you get to do track days in February...and that you're within reach of Laguna Seca.

Did you leave your TCS on? Seems like a little bit of a delay on putting power down at exit.

Yeah CA track season is year round, I love it!

TCS was left on all day and it was for sure cutting power but it also saved my butt a few times. RWD is very different than FWD Duhh. Biggest take away for me was just little bit of throttle goes a long to settling the car through corner, but it is very easy to apply too much of it.

Super smooth driving tho.

I've only raced that track on my simulator.

And a guy bought my K swapped ITR a while back and took it there.

So...by the power of osmosis...I've...been at that track??

Jk Jk...

Jealous

Two huge beasts at the track, I was surprised you mainly stayed in 3rd throughout most corners. Once you get into the rhythm you'll start seeing better numbers. Unlike FWD where you can throttle out the G wont understeer where the FWD but can oversteer just by looking at it.

Hugh I VR tracked a 370z at laguna so yeah. We've both been at that track

Thanks I appreciate the feedback, being smooth is a big emphasis for me.

Lol yes yes that sounds like...sound logic

One of the guys in my group blew the D series in his EK hatch on the 2nd session and is going K24 now.
