Got rubber spacers for the back; hoping to tackle the rear end this weekend. Actually I may raise the car all around. Basis Zs are just a fraction too soft all around. Thankfully there's no rubbing anywhere.

Spacers worked; I need to get some pictures.

Next up, some intake and exhaust work. Got the K&N high flow filters + removed the hood insulation a while back; just ordered a generic Y-pipe and the Z1 silicone tubes in black. Going to do a custom exhaust but it's going to take some time to piece together. I also got the Grom Audio V-Line thingy.

Maintenance wise I'd like to get my tranny and power steering fluids flushed. Front rotors are cooked after not even a year  I replaced them when I bought the car. Going to have to do that again as well

Look forward to pics of the spacer setup, and hopefully they'll hold up well for you.

Ugh I am so terrible at taking pics during installs. Just looking through my camera now, I literally brought it to the garage while I was working but never took the pictures I can take some before/after pictures of the drop though.

Thanks! I got discouraged for a bit when my gas mileage dropped but it's back to normal now. Hoping the next few mods add to the enjoyment (and give a little back in MPGs)

I85 commute. I thought I bedded them in well but they definitely have some hot spots or glazing. They can probably be salvaged.

Weird. I'm driving similar traffic patterns and I pound on my brakes. Almost 50k on OEM rotors, although I am on my 2nd set of pads. Maybe because I'm MT I'm able to sit in neutral and not leave hot pads pressed against the rotors

Y pipe and post MAF tubes came in. Going to hit up some local exhaust shops to get started on that project. Slight snag on the build though.... my first child was born last night

Got a SES light soon. Gas mileage seems to be suffering. There also is some kind of knock coming from the front left suspension. Might be time to change the front arms.

What makes you think it's the control arms, and what goes bad that would necessitate replacement?

I've recently developed a clunk like noise in the front drivers side. No signs of leaking from the shock, and all the bushings in the control arms appear fine. I suppose it could also be the end links. So, curious to know what goes bad in the control arms.

You know what, it probably could be tie rods. Only happens when I turn the wheel. I just need to get under and look. Whatever it is is getting upgraded with something solid though.
