Trust me, I was depressed when I found out there was no 6MT, even for the coupe.
Unfortunately, this car is just way too beautiful and way too powerful for me to pass up. The auto is actually decent in the Red Sport. Its well matched with the engine. I drive the car as if it were a manual, constantly downshifting before turns and such.
To be honest, I dont miss the manual THAT much. One day I will come back to one, but for now, the auto is ok. You just step on the gas pedal and the car disappears.
Cant wait for proper intakes to be released. It will be intakes, downpipe, and tune. 450RWHP shouldnt be too far off from this car.

I'll be getting down pipes probably next year. I'm trying to take the Rochester approach and set a budget yearly. This year was GTHaus and springs, and ended up being GTHaus, springs, spacers, and front grille. Next year will hopefully be wheels and tires and down pipes.
As far as which GTHaus system I have, I just have the stainless three sections without the valve control, which I'm glad I didn't spend the extra money on.
I like this car a lot, more so than the Lexus, but there are aspects I do miss from the Lexus. Power folding mirrors, ventilated seats, the back up camera quality, overall build quality, the sport + mode down shifts which always gave you predictable down shifts whereas the Q50RS seems to be a hit or miss, touch sensors on all of the door handles, the puddle lights under the mirrors lighting up when you're within 3 feet of the car, power closing trunk, black headliner which the Q60RS gets but not the Q50RS. But it was boring to drive, plus there were a ton of white GS350's where I live.
Now to what I like about the Q50RS over the Lexus, the puddle lights being on the door handle instead of the mirrors which I usually had folded in, remote start didn't shut off when you unlock the car like it does in the Lexus, the awd system seems to be better, transmission seems to be more responsive, the infotainment system is so much easier to use, the engine mainly the ho and tq, the exterior styling, seats, suspension, akebono bbk.
I love both cars but I like the Q50RS better, but I feel like if you combine both cars together you'd have a really solid car.
What color combo did you get?

man that's a nice coupe Chili! I had a deal worked out for a similar white with red interior coupe as well but it was loaded to the max with every option and accessory which made the price astronomically over budget. It's a beauty, enjoy it! Perhaps a few years down the road and once the new design dust settles, I may look to return to the coupe (hopefully with a DCT or 6-mt)
oo oo oo me too
I mean it's a long shot but I hope to God they give us at least one of those options. Heck even the new Porsche GT3's will be coming with a manual gearbox option other than the PDK.
I'm waiting eagerly to see how the springs look on your car. I purchased a set of 15mm spacers as well so I'm hoping it'll help with the new wheels.

I will try to get a better shot of the rear soon. From a dead on center shot, its extremely beautiful to me.

Why not? Got nothing to lose, although I'd recommend low expectations.
Being a Stillen part, and a pretty basic one, I bet you can find an Infiniti dealership to source and install the thing, as a factory-warrantied part. You might spend a little more, but nothing wrong with that.
You know... this picture is really confusing. Derp
No, wait! I just got it! LOL. It's the front radiator shroud, unbolted and resting upside down on the engine cover.
Hahahahah, wow.

Looking at it, seems what they did was design a heat-shield integrated into the factory air inlets, while supporting a particular size cone filter. I wonder if it's a common size? And I wonder how tightly fit things are. If it's tight, then you could reasonably call this a true cold-air intake, just like OEM. The difference is a more free-flowing pair of filters, and added noise.
But look at this last picture...
Looks like there's nothing between the filter and the radiator except really hot air.
And not for nothing, but if Nissan is going to bother with a glossy nylon braid over their radiator hoses, the least they could have done was finish the ends with something other than a pinch clamp and some tape.
