So I did the above mentioned mods. Swapped the clock and took out the trim, sanders the imperfections and painted it black. Then reinstalled. I'm extremely happy with the result so.
Also got a can of never dull and cleaned the exhaust.

Thank you. imo, the black trim really changed the whole area quite a bit. I'm very happy with it. Robbie offered to flush mount the emblem for free. I just have to send it to him. I may try myself first though and order a new one if I screw it up. it's $50 for that little piece though so kinda pricey. :\

Not a story to tell really.
casting a fleece if you will. happy to keep it. but if it sells at what I feel is a fair price I will take it as a sign I am supposed to move on to a more adult venture......
either way i'll be content and when i return it will be with a car more reflecting the true mid-life crisis i am currently experiencing.
Times like this, women cut their hair, whereas men buy (or sell) a car. How's that for a massively simplistic gender generalization? LOL

Tbh, i never wanted the G to begin with. I bought it because it was fun enough but still hauled the kids. But i picked up a Honda Pilot last year and am going to either buy a house or a true sports car in a couple years. we have to wait to see just how bad my crisis gets. LMAO.
G/L with whatever turns this takes, would like to see you sticking around w/ that nice G, but the heart wants what the heart wants, and not being in a rush will make it all fall into place when the time is right.

Thanks all.
It makes me a bit sick to have dumped $15k into it including labor/install of everything just to sell within a year so my required price to sleep at night may be a little high (can tell me, I won't be offended) which would result in me keeping it awhile longer so we shall see.
also would mean getting removed from my highly coveted PNW_INC car club that I recently became an admin of so that would suck. so i'll accept whatever the results of this happen to be. Appreciate everything I've learned from you guys though either way.

Instead of dump & replace with another upscale or high-performing vehicle, how about keeping the G and buying an affordable car as your DD? Get something used and super comfortable (for your back). Have you ever been in the Infiniti M35? It's a very appealing design, with a luxurious, comfortable interior. Bet you could pick up one to easily fit your budget as second-car.
It took me 5 years of planning to get to $15k in cost-of-mods, and I didn't have my entire car vinyl wrapped like you did.
