Well, I have been playing around with the idea of adding an oil and trans cooler and where to put them. A bit different than most opinions but I hated how the intake looked behind the grill so I removed and sold the Takeda intake and got the Injen installed instead. Now I can put the oil and trans coolers behind the grill with great air flow so best of both worlds for me.

Transgo shift kit has been ordered and this means I'm bailing on the 6sp swap. It would have been cool but the more I drive my car in traffic and race in the corners with the paddle shifters I really don't want a manual car.

Here's a pic of the intake installed but we all know what it looks like. I really really need a tune now, I have full test-back exhaust, CAI, pulleys and a shift kit going in next week. Hoping for some good 1/4 times afterwards..

Yep, they feel great and feels very similar to stock! Also, it sits pretty low, I ordered a front lip and test fit it about 2 inches off the ground, there's no way I'll ever go lower with coils.

Toe is in spec all around, front camber is too but rear camber is a bit off. But I like it, fits the meatier tires just fine and hardly noticeable. I drive like an idiot on the weekends and haven't noticed any uneven wear so its hardly noticeable.

Will do. I've called a few shops and no one wants to touch the install so I may be stuck doing it myself. I always do my own work but don't know a single thing about auto transmissions.. We'll see.

I did a thing and hit 100k this weekend :/.. Then I bought a hoopty! Its a 94 Mazda Protégé that I bought with 117k, gets over 30mpg and all for $100.. It needs a clutch slave cylinder and new headliner, other than that, runs and drives and even the AC blows cold. I'm gonna do a couple littler repairs, throw on some better fitting wheels with all weather tires, my bike rack, upgrade the tape deck to a newer head unit and drive the wheels off of it. Why am I posting this on here you may ask? Because I now have a reliable daily other than the bike and that means its time for the G to go under the knife. I'm searching around for turbo parts and will start my rear mounted turbo setup this winter, no idea when I'll finish.. I'm good friends with a very talented welder with some great ideas so, here goes....

Haha no that's my girl Roxie, she turns 10 this month.

I've tried everything to get that tape residue off of the trunk, it was taped down for years and it was a 5 minute fix

I've always want a beater car as well hah nice pick up. Btw you should take a look at my review for the Transgo kit in the Drivetrain review section.

Hell yeah, will do. And yeah, it's a beater for sure, really makes me appreciate what I have. We're all fortunate to be able to afford the cars we drive.
